DEA to Host Family Summit on the Overdose Epidemic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Free event is for families who have been victims of illicit substances.

The Drug Enforcement Administration, New Orleans Field Division, wants to hear from families in this region as they share stories about their loved ones, but also assist them with awareness information, education resources, introduce them to other prevention/treatment/counseling partners, who will be present at the event.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.

WHERE: Jefferson Baptist Church, 9135 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809

WHAT: Summit for families who have suffered the loss of a loved one due to illicit substances or have a loved one currently suffering through illicit substance use disorder.

WHO: DEA New Orleans Field Division, Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office, Office of the Governor, Capital Area Human Services District, Louisiana Primary Care Association and more.
