The Illinois PDMP data collection company Logicoy started providing daily reports via SFTP. This means that data submitters don’t need a human logging into a system on a daily basis to retrieve the information. It is also means data submitters can avoid reading through hundreds of daily emails to detect issues.
The report files are in CSV format and placed into a “reports” folder. Automatically retrieving and processing these files means that issues are detected earlier and the cost of submitting PDMP data is lower. Big shout out to Logicoy for making this happen.
