Here is the article in case it’s removed:
Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to share with you some news about a project I have been working on that I believe can be a game-changer for your controlled substance compliance needs.
Whether you are a “Mom & Pop” pharmacy or a Fortune 500 company, you know that failure to sufficiently analyze your data or data provided to you by a customer can lead to disastrous results for your business or company. It can also lead to dire consequences for patients and the public at large. I am a firm believer that all facets of the pharmaceutical supply chain have a legal and moral obligation to work together to detect and prevent diversion and to be “part of the solution.” An effective compliance program with the right tools is a great starting point.
But let’s be honest, there are currently very few software programs and analytical tools available that provide meaningful support to address your controlled substance compliance needs. There are even fewer that are created by experts in controlled substance compliance. Unfortunately, unless you have the internal resources and expertise to create data analytical tools, you are left with few options, if any.
That is no longer the case…
In late 2021, I created Drug Enforcement Analytics LLC (DEA LLC). As a stand-alone company separate from my law firm, DEA LLC is focused on providing software solutions and consulting services to assist controlled substance compliance programs throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain with meeting their statutory and regulatory obligations.
As the Founder and CEO of DEA LLC, I am excited to officially announce the launch of DEA LLC’s inaugural compliance software platform, Controlled Substance Solutions™ (CSS).
The CSS platform is an interactive dashboard that provides users with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve potential “red flags” with respect to the prescribing and dispensing of controlled substances. CSS takes the guess work out of analyzing pharmacy dispensing data by providing advanced, on-demand, and relevant insights into dispensing data. All of this is done in a secure and protected IT environment.
Whether you are the owner of an independent retail pharmacy or a member of a corporate compliance team for a chain pharmacy, distributor, or manufacturer, CSS can serve as an invaluable tool to mitigate compliance risks and to help protect the public health and safety from prescription drug abuse.
If you want to learn more about CSS or if you want to set up a free demo, please visit DEA LLC’s website or you can contact me directly via email at larry@cssolutionsusa.com.
