Florida Sex: St. Augustine doctor indicted, accused of illegal prescriptions in exchange for sexual favors

A St. Augustine doctor has been indicted in a lengthy investigation of illegally prescribing controlled substances in exchange for sexual favors, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office per news partner First Coast News.

Since August 2021, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s said it has been investigating Dr. Scott Andrew Hollington, 57, owner and primary physician at Sawgrass Health. The facility is a mental health and drug treatment clinic.

During the numerous undercover operations that spanned more than a year, investigators said they discovered illegal prescriptions that included the use of several mid-level practitioners operating in a telemedicine capacity.
